I hope everyone is having a wonderful spring and creating lots of beautiful art. I joined the PAPCO group at Red Rock Canyon last Saturday, April 22nd. I really had a wonderful time and actually started a painting that I think I will be able to finish. (My first plein air painting).

I hope some of the rest of you will be able to join us on the second Tuesday in May at Edmond's Hafer Park.
The contact person is Glennis Horn, 359-0607. The park has rolling hills, fence, trees, pond, etc. The park entrance is at 9th and Bryant, on the east side of the street. After entering, take the first road on the right, and stay on this road until you get to the pond which has a pavilion near it. We can park along the road. Bring a sack lunch, your camera, and don't forget the sunscreen/block.

Open studio invitation for all artists Wednesdays and Fridays 2:00-4:00pm at the Midwest City Library lobby. This is to be a very informal gathering of any artists working in any medium. Wednesdays will start May 10th and Fridays will start on May 12th. Using the Rose State College class schedules this will continue until classes start again for continuing education. Come and join your colleagues for the joy of creating art and the comraderie.

TAG Colonies Art Show Opening Reception is May 6th at 4:00pm. This should be a great show. Come and support your Mid-Del Art Guild Members.
The Colonies Market Gallery is located at N. Western and N.W. 51st street in Okla. City. The show will run through the end of May.

If you have any news that might be of interest to other Mid-Del Art Guild members please post it here for all to read.

Hangn' Round Town

Hangn' Round Town

Good news for HRT. Campus Corner Coffee Shop's new owner ,Yuki, on S. E. 15th street, is very interested in continuing with Mid-Del Art Guild hanging art work every month.
Those of you that have already signed up for this venue can still show your work there.

I am still working on finding other venues for our members. I am going to have to go outside of the Mid-Del area for better venues. If you have any suggestions I will be glad to follow up on the leads.

I need people to sign up for Lupe's Mexican Restaurant and Holland Realtors. Please email me if you would like to.

Thank you fellow members,
